Mildura Shine Co · ABN 72 767 892 925 · MSC-PRO-03 · v1.0 · Issued 23 Jul 2026 · Review: annual or after any incident · Authorised: Owner/Operator
Applies to all SWPs: pre-start powerline/service-drop survey before any pole is raised (carbon conducts — 3m no-go); working-alone check-in active; heat/UV controls Oct–Mar; public protection (cones/signage) where work meets footpaths; incident/complaint handling per MSC-PRO-02.
SWP-1 · Window cleaning — water-fed pole (ground-based)
Setup: fill line to customer tap (permission on quote, trigger nozzle); buffer tank float-fill running; pole hose routed clear of walkways.
Work: pole rested against the building line, worked top-down; both hands on pole; never within 3m of any conductor; no overreach — move feet, not arms; wind stop at 25 km/h (quality stop earlier).
Pure water only — no chemicals through the pole system, ever (protects glass, gardens and the resin bed).
SWP-2 · Window cleaning — traditional (ground level)
Solution: dish soap and/or cloudy ammonia mix per MSC-REG-01. Ammonia mixes are never combined with any chlorine/bleach product — including a customer's own cleaning products left on sills.
Blade work only on wet glass with the fabricating-debris waiver signed; pads/bronze wool before blades.
Drop cloths on interior work; wet-floor awareness with occupants; furniture moved with permission only.
Ladder: industrial-rated, 4:1 angle, standoff/gutter-clamp fitted, footing checked, three points of contact, no top-rung work, repositioned rather than reached — no work in wind >25 km/h or on wet roofs.
Leather gloves always (fasteners, glass, spiders); debris to tarps, then to customer's green bin or priced removal.
Downpipes flushed only after solids removed; gutter-guard removal only under the signed brittle-guard acknowledgement.
Anything above single-storey reach: declined or referred — Working at Heights module not yet active.
Method policy: mechanical friction only — surface cleaner + controlled pressure + water. No chlorinated products are carried or used. Degreaser is optional spot-treatment for oil only, applied per MSC-REG-01, never broadcast.
Water compliance: job scoped under a Permanent Water Saving Rules purpose (stain/safety/construction) and stated on the invoice; machine flow ≤9 L/min.
Runoff: plain-water/sediment runoff directed to lawns and garden beds (never stormwater); on kerbside work the nearest drain is covered first and containment photographed. Sediment swept and collected, not hosed to the street.
Surfaces: test patch first; degraded/painted/sealed surfaces at reduced pressure or declined; never high pressure on render, roofing, glass, seals or solar.
Electrical: 240V machine on RCD-protected supply (V2L or site RCD); connections dry and elevated; jet never toward fittings, meters, people or animals — fluid-injection injury is a medical emergency.
SWP-5 · Solar panel cleaning — ground-based pure water
Pre-check from ground/photos: cracked, chipped, delaminated or burnt panels = stop — live DC risk — photograph, report to customer in writing, do not clean that string.
Method: pure water + soft brush only. Never blades, pads, detergents, degreasers or pressure. Early-morning work (cool glass — thermal-shock and flash-dry avoidance).
Pole work per SWP-1 controls; arrays never walked on; brush pressure light — the water does the work.
Output verification: TDS at the pole tip ≤10 ppm before starting (spot-free assurance).
Out of scope for all SWPs (declined or referred): any work above single-storey ladder reach that cannot be done by pole from the ground; roof walking; work within 3m of conductors; chlorinated soft-washing. These activate only under the Future Working-at-Heights module with training, equipment and insurance in place first.
